About This Course
Course Objective:
Scaffolding Inspection course is developed for employers and employees; helps employers to meet their federally mandated requirements, while providing employees with adequate knowledge as well as authority to inspect and certify scaffoldings prior to put them in use.
By the end of the course attendees will have attained thorough knowledge on how to inspect and certify a scaffolding prior to its safe use.

- Introduction to regulation and approved codes of practice
- Scaffolding components & terminology (to include tubes, boards & fittings)
- various types of Scaffolding
- Construction common to all scaffolds (basic frame, Ties, ladders and working platforms)
- Scaffold inspection requirements
- Practical inspection of Independent Tied Scaffold
- Review of findings
- Classroom assessment

Course Completion:
On successful completion of the course each candidate will receive a IPSW Certificate – 2 years valid
